Laurence has built an impressive track record spanning board and leadership appointments over a 20+ year career in executive search. She has advised clients in consumer, retail, leisure and media sectors, as well as real estate and property and worked extensively with publicly quoted and privately-owned companies, in the UK and internationally. A qualified Hogan assessor, she also supports boards in the assessment of their executive and ‘up and coming’ talent including internal candidates.

With so many business models undergoing significant changes today, Laurence has consistently challenged clients to rebalance their skillset and make way for the ‘new,’ helping businesses to fundamentally ‘refresh’ their boards when facing strong headwinds or steering family businesses through generational transitions or bringing in professional leadership. She is known for her rigorous approach, encouraging her clients to think ‘outside the box’ and long-standing client relationships, reflected in her high level of repeat business.

Laurence established her search career with Whitehead Mann, working with retail clients before joining Odgers Berndtson, where she ran the European Consumer, Leisure and Retail Practice. A lawyer by background and educated in Belgium, France and the UK, Laurence understands the importance of cultural fit and diversity to the success of any team.

Laurence is a board member of the Corporate Partnership Board of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH) and advises the Marketing Academy in their fellowship selection process. Outside work, she is an avid dressage rider.
