Helen is Chair of the Warren Partners EOT Board.

Helen worked for the John Lewis Partnership (the largest employee-owned company in the UK) for more than 30 years. Her last two roles were as Personnel Director for Waitrose, and Partners’ Counsellor, a main board role which represented Partner opinion and was a critical friend of the Chairman and Executive Team. Helen led the teams that supported democracy throughout the Partnership and has a depth of experience in understanding the culture of Employee Ownership Businesses (EOBs).

Having left John Lewis in January 2024, Helen has built a portfolio of work as an executive coach, a NED for a Housing Association and as an independent trustee and chair of a number of employee-owned businesses. Helen is very passionate about employee ownership being a better way of doing business. She enjoys working with businesses to support founders, leaders and employee owners to leverage the opportunities that employee ownership provides.

In her spare time Helen loves travelling, volunteers in her village community shop and enjoys textile crafts, cooking and is an enthusiastic but very amateur gardener.
