Key Objective

Our client, a leading provider of infrastructure services and property developments had a clear objective to improve the diversity of their organisation, specifically at the ‘Head of’ and ‘Director’ levels.

Challenges

They were also keen to understand how their competitors were addressing attracting diverse talent, and to understand how their EVP and marketing collatoral could be improved to achieve their objectives.

Process

Warren Partners were engaged to work with the client over a one-year time frame to identify, introduce and manage pipelines of diverse talent across multiple business functions and to provide an extensive analysis of the diversity make up, reporting lines, and organisational structures within 15 of their main competitors. WP also presented an analysis, by company, of all initiatives that these companies had undertaken to improve their diversity metrics. Finally, we provided a comparison, by company, of competitor EVP and marketing to understand the changes our client may need to implement to make themselves more attractive to the market.

Outcome

As a result of our project, our client proceeded to appoint multiple diverse hires across their business functions, and the data we provided on competitor EVP and marketing formed the basis of a significant overhaul of their former external communications. Importantly, they were also able to create a sustainable pipeline of diverse talent to engage with in the long-term.
